Let's Talk

75F is VAPT Certified

We are incredibly proud to announce that 75F passed rigorous Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) with flying colors this month, effectively marking the 75F system the most secure IoT-based Building Management System in our industry. In a rapidly digitizing world, data security remains a critical cornerstone of technological growth. Especially in the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape, where devices and systems communicate seamlessly, ensuring the highest level of security is more than just a preference—it's a necessity.

Conducted by a reputed third-party firm specializing in ethical hacking methods, the VAPT was a comprehensive examination of our network, online applications, mobile apps, APIs, and cloud platforms. As the foremost player in the building technology industry, we understand the responsibility we bear to provide not just smart, but also safe solutions. By the end of the VAPT, 75F emerged with zero critical vulnerabilities.

To truly understand the weight of this achievement, it’s essential to delve into the four core areas of the VAPT. VAPT is a rigorous process that probes, prods, and pushes a system's security measures to their limits. It looks for the most minute vulnerabilities, tests the resilience of the system against possible breaches, and ensures our solution isn’t just safe—it’s virtually impenetrable.

  • Vulnerability Assessment: This hands-on technical engagement identifies, quantifies, and prioritizes vulnerabilities within an IT environment. It’s akin to a doctor's examination, identifying potential health risks and providing a plan to manage them. The focus is on known vulnerabilities, offering a practical picture of the security landscape.

  • Penetration Testing: This stage takes vulnerability assessment to a deeper level. It's not merely about identifying potential weaknesses but about actively testing whether they could lead to actual breaches. This stage acts as a friendly burglar, testing both known and unknown weaknesses to see if they could lead to an actual breach. At 75F, this involved the analysis of our network, online applications, mobile apps, APIs, and the cloud.

  • Breach & Attack Simulation: For a nuanced understanding of network security, the third-party company orchestrated a series of simulated attacks, mimicking a multi-pronged real-world scenario. This immersive test allowed for a comprehensive understanding of our security posture under realistic attack conditions.

  • Automated Vulnerability Assessment: In a world where threats evolve almost daily, the key to staying secure lies in constant vigilance. Leveraging the third-party firm’s Crystal Eye UTM platform, automated vulnerability assessment scans were performed, maintaining a steady, watchful eye on our systems for new threats that might emerge.

This extensive testing regimen reflects our commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of our building solutions. As a result, our customers can trust that the IoT-based BMS we offer is not just advanced and efficient, but also robust and secure.

Moreover, we don’t just build our products to be secure — we build them to remain secure. Security isn’t a destination, but a journey, and the VAPT certification is just one step in our ongoing pursuit to ensure the highest security standards. When our customers invest in 75F, they're not just investing in an IoT-based BMS — they're investing in a secure, innovative, and future-facing vision. Together, let's build a safer, smarter world.
