Description

75F seeks a motivated, HVAC sales application engineer to help our sales team with the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. With our sales team, you will be a key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. 

 

You will provide assistance to the sales teams in determining a correct application of our HVAC and lighting controls technology. In addition, you will provide technical support to customers both in the field and over the phone, focusing on installation and hardware issues. You must enjoy problem-solving; technical challenges and working with customers. The Sales Application Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. The role will require some travel in the Upper Midwest, with opportunities to travel around the nation to assist the sales team with setting up new distributors and contractors.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
  • Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Able to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.

 

Requirements

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in technical sales and knowledge of HVAC control systems. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for travel.

 

  • 3-5+ years relevant experience in HVAC or related technical sales
  • A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred

 

Note: Sales Engineer experience often has other titles including Application Engineer, Field Consultant, Pre-sales support, and Area Support Engineer.

Marketing Manager

 

Summary

75F seeks a global change agent to join our marketing team. Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing go-to-market plans and implementation, including product launches and vertical market campaigns, content strategy and writing, orchestrating development and project management with internal/external team across both digital and IRL marketing mix, managing resources and budget, plus marketing performance reporting and analysis.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Manage complexity.
    • Grow the 75F brand, software and hardware solutions portfolio and approach to market.
    • Translate differentiation and benefits in the context of personas, applications, workflows, and vertical markets – through the value chain.
    • Orchestrate a large, growing and fast-moving mix of marketing projects with timely and graceful team communications, quality assurance and accountability.
  • "SMarketing" collaboration: bridge strategy and operations with marketing team (VP, Webmaster/Designer, Videographer, Interns) and sales/service teams to streamline customer lifecycle management, top-of-funnel marketing through customer advocacy programs.
  • B2B Account-based Marketing (ABM) practice development.
  • Content Strategy, Editorial Planning and Management: Direct, write/edit, publish, promote and analyze content across mix.
  • Digital Marketing & Marketing Automation: Web, LPO, blog, SEO/PPC, social media, email, scoring and workflows, database and CRM management, leveraging Hubspot and other tools.
  • Event planning, implementation, logistics and team communications across trade shows, hosted events, networking events, knowledge sharing, lunch ‘n’ learns; responsible for presentations, speaker/award submissions, exhibit booth, video displays, product demo boards, surround events, etc.
  • PR/AR, awards, partner and professional organization engagement, literature, etc.
  • Project Management: work cooperatively with cross-functional internal/external teams to set priorities, scope and deadlines and deliver with accountability for on-time, on-brand quality across the marketing mix.
  • Reporting and Analysis: track and report performance against objectives/KPIs, capture and provide feedback/ analysis to improve relevance and performance.

Education and Experience (Recommended)

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field. MBA a plus.

  • Industry experience desired: IT; IoT; SaaS; Building Controls, HVAC, BAS, EMS; Energy; Commercial Real Estate (CRE); A&E/Construction; Retail; Restaurant; Hospitality.

VP of Operations

Summary/Objective

Vice president of operations is an experienced high-tech operation executive who has generated significant impact through the strategic and tactical direction of emerging technology companies with a combination of enterprise SaaS and installed field devices (IoT). This position will direct and develop employees in distribution (receiving, replenishment, order fulfillment and returns processing), call center (customer care, order management, performance measurements), field service, operations systems, internal tech support, and new technologies. This position will report directly to the CEO and will serve as a member of the executive team.

 

Essential Functions 

  1. Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.
  2. Develop and direct the management of the technology department to ensure that all operational systems are continuously evaluated for proper operation, relevance and utilization. Select and maintain order management systems and data warehousing. Oversee all company telecommunication systems and support. Ensure that company is migrated toward technology offerings that will generate higher efficiency, enhanced reporting and tracking capabilities and substantial ROI.
  3. Develop and direct the management of the company’s fulfillment/distribution center that will ensure fast order processing, accurate inventory control, proper and timely receipt/stocking of goods, cost-efficient shipping direct to customers and effective processing of returns. Manage logistics and outbound transportation processes, negotiate parcel freight programs. Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
  4. Develop and direct the management of the customer call center to ensure customer satisfaction, improved call efficiency, and improved employee product knowledge and training. Implement processes and systems that will generate higher productivity and revenues. 
  5. Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure that company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
  6. Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and presents suggestions to CEO for consideration.
  7. Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibility

Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience with both front and back end application development. You will have a thorough understanding of server, network, and hosting environments, databases, APIs, user interfaces, user experience, security concerns, and coding best practices. Your portfolio should include links to sites you have designed as well as case studies outlining your specific contributions to the projects you’ve worked on.

  • Experience with Kinvey, AWS, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of one or more back end programming languages
