75F prides itself on being an innovative company that finds new solutions to old problems. Therefore, when we were named one of the Top 100 Most Disruptive Companies in the World in 2017 alongside Tesla, we simply smiled. “Disruptive” is an interesting term because the verb "disrupt" indicates to cause disorder or turmoil, but when used in business it typically implies radical change. It is with this latter definition in mind, that we embrace being a top disruptor in 2017.
With the wide-ranging technological advancement that’s occurred over the last couple decades, there’s no reason for many of today’s inefficiencies within buildings to remain. The rise of cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT) enable us to collect, analyze and take action on real data in a fast, meaningful and inexpensive manner. With the aid of proper technology, thermostat wars don’t need to persist, and energy bills shouldn’t run high. Comfort and energy savings can live hand-in-hand, benefiting humans and the planet. Climate change is undeniably one of the biggest challenges of this decade.
Being an entrepreneur means finding smart ways to address challenges head on.
As an emerging tech company who utilizes new technologies to reduce the impact of commercial buildings, we see the value in creative thinking. More importantly, we see the value in creative doing.
Through our partnership with the United Nations Environment Program- Sustainable Buildings Climate Initiative and our everyday actions, we’re intent on supporting the principles of the Paris Climate Accord. By helping companies achieve their triple bottom line, we’re honored to be benefiting people, planet and profit.
We attribute this mission and our green building dedication to helping get our name on the top 100 most disruptive companies in the world this year.
