September 20th was an exciting day, as our CEO and Founder, Deepinder Singh, took the stage at the VERGE 2017 to pitch 75F to nearly 2,000 attendees in Silicon Valley, plus a global live-streaming audience. Wednesday afternoon's VERGE Accelerate program consisted of seven entrepreneurs, each given just two and a half minutes to promote their company's story before an audience of technology and sustainability thought leaders. After a quick discussion including feedback from a panel of judges, the crowd-sourced voting took place. It was a white knuckle event as Lilac Solutions and 75F battled for the win.

This year, VERGE Accelerate received nearly 100 submissions from across the globe! A finalist in the "Infrastructure and Built Environment" category, 75F's building automation solutions are gaining recognition for significant energy savings and workplace comfort improvements, reflected in multiple awards for energy, clean tech, innovation and more.
The lucky Accelerate finalists were joined on the main stage of VERGE 17 by hand-selected industry experts, providing exposure to investors, corporations and decision makers who help steer business and policy for emerging technology solutions. The live voting jockeyed 75F neck-and-neck with lithium production startup Lilac Solutions; then, GreenBiz authorities declared a tie. View the full press release.
Thank you ALL for helping to vote us in and for the outpooring of love on social media! We greatly appreciate you.
Produced annually since 2011 in Silicon Valley by GreenBiz, VERGE 2017 Conference & Expo focuses on the technologies and systems that accelerate sustainable solutions across multiple sectors in a climate-constrained world.
The event highlights transformative but scalable, solution-oriented discussions through seven program tracks, including one where 75F really focuses: "Next-Gen Buildings" building owners, facility and property managers, investors, brokers, policy makers, energy producers and solution providers gathered to explore and accelerate building automation, energy efficiency and demand response, net-zero and net-positive buildings, IoT, sensors, occupant health, well-being (WELL certified buildings), building energy, water and waste management.
Buildings account for 40% of annual energy consumption and up to 30% of all energy-related greenhouse gas emissions. That's why we are driven to improve energy efficiency for businesses! As a partner of the United Nations Environment Program- Sustainable Buildings Climate Initiative, we lower our customers' carbon footprint, along with their monthly energy bills.
